The ASO Lane County Chapter is sponsoring a Social Skills Class and Social Activity in Eugene for adults on the spectrum who can get around independently in the community. The class and activities take place on alternating months.
The Social Skills Class is taught by Doris Germain, an Autism Specialist in the Linn-Benton School District. She has taught social skills at Autism Training and Support in Eugene. Her skill in teaching social skills has been learned from 20 years of working with people on the spectrum.
The Social Skills Class is free. The ASO will help pay for fees and other expenses for the Social Activity.
