Seans Run 2009

Sean’s running, rain or shine!
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 in Oaks Park in Portland Oregon. We will be running and walking again this year.

9 am Registration Opens
10 am Kids Fun Run starts
10:15 am Run (5K and 10K) starts
10:30 am 5K Walk starts
11:30 Awards Ceremony

We will have a 5k walk and a 5k/10k run through Oaks Park and on the Springwater Trail.

All ages and fitness levels welcome! See you there!

DISTANCES AND COURSE:
5k (3.11 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles)
This scenic out-and-back course will begin and end in Historic Oaks Park on the Willamette River, then wind along the Willamette Greenway before turning around and heading back into Oaks Park. Runners will not need to decide on their distance until reaching the 1.5 mile of the event.

ENTRY FEES:
US Post Office Run / Walk Pre-Registration ends Monday, 4/20/08
Online Run / Walk Pre-Registration ends 11:59 pm Thursday, 4/23/08

Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under)
– Pre-Registration and Day Of Race – $10
Pre-Registered Run / Walk Entries – $20
ORRC Members Pre-Registration – $15
Day of Race/April 25, 2009 – All Entries – $25

One T-shirt included with each Pre-Registration.
T-shirts will not be held without prior arrangement if not picked
up during registration .

T-shirts not guaranteed for Day-of-Race Entries.

RESULTS
Results for both races will be posted on SeansRunfromautism.org and the Autism Parents Network website .
They will also be E-mailed to any participants that leave an E-mail address.

AWARDS:
Ribbons will be awarded 3 places deep in ORRC 5-year age groups.
Awards ceremony will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m.
