In his two years of weight loss, Arthur Wornum has learned that there is no magic trick, there is no Super Shake or Vitamin that helps people lose weight. There are just two things : diet, and exercise.
So, Arthur wants to challenge folks, in the United States, and around the world. He wants YOU to feel inspired. Arthur Wornum left season 11 of NBC’s Biggest Loser with just about 100 lbs to go, and he believes there is no better way to inspire, and get some other folks moving, than to continue his efforts and reach his ultimate goal. Arthur says “Tell you one thing I’ve learned : if I set my mind to it, I can accomplish anything.” And you can, too!
So, set a goal for this summer. Have the best summer ever! and Arthur is here to help.
- First thing Arthur needs you to do, whether you’re here locally or not, is to go to Arthur and Jesse Wornum Biggest Loser 11 on Facebook.
- Visit the discussion tab. There, you’ll also be able to :
- put in your starting weight
- discuss and kick off different kinds of fitness and nutrition ideas.
- See a lot of video tips
- See some special guests.
- For folks here locally, Arthur is going to be offering group fitness classes.
- Visit the discussion tab. There, you’ll also be able to :
Now, Arthur Wornum doesn’t have a certification, but he does know how to have fun, and how to work out as a group. What he will be doing is NOT going to be in gyms. Arthur intends to prove to folks is that is that you don’t need a gym, you don’t need a treadmill, you don’t need an elliptical. It’s the summer time – use nature, use your bodies, and other household items.
To get things going, Arthur Wornum will hold, and attend, two personal weigh ins. One of which will be held at the ARRO Westside Family and Comunity Center (thanks to Joy Whitmore for finding this location)!
And remember what Arthur Wornum says : Accepting who you are, accepting your weight, loving yourself for who you are, where you are right now is a big key to your future success. At the end of this challenge, that personal self worth, that feeling of accomplishing something that you set out to do: there is no money, there is no trip, there is no better feeling than that success.
August 31st will be the end of the Arthur and Arthur Wornum Summer Weight Loss Challenge. Arthur has set his summer goal. What’s yours?
