Pirate Party
August 20, 2011
Dear PACE Fan,
We DEMAND (Aaarrgg!) that you attend this year’s Pirate Party on August 20, 2011. We hope you will support our fund-raising events for PACE Foundation, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
The profits from the Pirate Party will benefit PACE Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
The PACE Foundation provides scholarships to families with a child with autism to attend educational training including PACE Place Immersion Workshops and the PACE Place Family Immersion Week.
Funds raised at last year’s Pirate Party provided $1,300 in scholarship funds to five families to attend workshop trainings. $1,000 scholarships have also been offered for the PACE Place Immersion week to families with a parent who is a police office, fire fighter, or serves in the military.
This is a good start, but we need to do more to support families.

Scholarships Benefit Families |
I wanted to thank the PACE Foundation so much for awarding me the scholarship that allowed me to attend the workshop! I could not have attended if it wasn’t for your generosity and it has meant a world of difference in our lives!
I was searching desperately for any kind of help to attempt to “get my girl back!” My daughter, who is autistic, has been through some very rough times personally and her trauma has caused her to become very aggressive and violent.
Your program has given me hope! Every day I see progress and I get “glimmers” of my daughter coming back to me! You teach with kindness and true understanding of our special children and I think that has been the key in helping her through. The insight you gave as to how their brain functions was amazing!
A Million Thanks, Deb & daughter |
