Sean’s Run 2019 – Thank you – Results – And More!

12 years. That’s how long we’ve been running Sean’s Run – every year, without fail. It’s been bigger! And even smaller. But we carry on. This year was our second year in a row in the same location – a first since we left the Springwater trail, downtown Portland. There are still a few kinks to work out, but overall, we’re excited to finally have a home.

Thank You Runners, Walkers and Spectators!

To everyone who turned out on August 17th, a big thank you! We know some of you have joined us before, and your return participation has inspired a new reward system for repeat participants. Check your emails for more info on that. But to all of you, on behalf of all the families that this event raises money, a huge, heartfelt thank you. Every one of you who joins us helps us to make a big difference to local Autism families during the holiday season. Results are posted below, as well as on our timer Russ Zornick’s page. Photos can, already be seen on our Facebook page :

Thank you Volunteers!

Sean’s Run is a huge volunteer undertaking, and our volunteers deserve special recognition. Their efforts span months, and on run day they’re out the door of their houses by 6AM so everything can be ready by the time registration opens at 8AM. Then, long after the last runner has crossed the finish line, they’re working hard to pack everything up, transport it back to Portland and, finally, unload and put everything away.

To all of you, for your hard work and dedication – THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

If you’d like to be a part of this incredible team, please email, and/or look for the Sean’s Run Volunteers group on our Sean’s Run Facebook page. We need help year round, so reach out now and we’ll find a way to put your energies to good use!

Sean’s Run 2020

It’s hard to imagine, but Sean’s Run 2020 will be upon us sooner than we realize. In another Sean’s Run first, we are opening up Registration for the August 15th, 2020 event almost a full year early. Tickets are already available at with an early bird discount.

Thank you 2019 Sponsors!

Our sponsors deserve a huge shout out. Their financial contribution covers the base cost of the run itself, which, in turn, ensures that every runner and walker who purchases a registration is directly helping Autism families in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark Counties.
